After a chaotic entrance to the world involving an ambulance ride with lights and a Father that missed the birth by four minutes he is settling in to the family very well.

I am really worried that they are going to be too small.  Newborn babies have enourmous feet in my experience.  Guess I will just have to wait until the end of June to find out.

Soldier is home, and back at work already.  

I cannot find the battery charger for the camera, so I have been using my iPhone with limited success.

I am really happy with them and they actually fit.  It was a very easy pattern to follow, with a six row pattern repeat.  I followed the pattern for the foot, substituting a short row toe, until after I had turned the heel and knit the heel flap. I then had to increase to 72 stitches to get the sock up over my heel. I dug it out the other day and I am very happy to say that I have two sleeves.  WooHoo!!!  I have worked out how to read my knitting too.
